  :: New Year Wellbeing Breaks

Beat the New Year blues with an A-list language getaway!

Cactus unveils a tempting range of international wellbeing breaks

5 December 2007: Cactus, one of the world’s top language training specialists, today announces a new range of wellbeing packages for people wanting to detox their bodies and refresh their minds this New Year. Forget dreary classrooms, students can jet-off to one of the world’s hippest boutique hotels and develop their skills in five-star surroundings, or take classes while soaking up the sun in the tropics.

For yoga addicts, Jaco Beach in Costa Rica offers a chance to practice postures and learn Spanish in a truly tranquil setting. All forms of yoga are offered from Vinyasa Flow to Iyengar, helping students build their physical flexibility and strength, whilst also honing their language abilities.

Or for those seeking some serious Gallic indulgence, Cactus’s French and Hydrotherapy courses in the spa town of Vichy offer the perfect break. Students take French classes in the morning at the picturesque Vichy language school, and relax in the afternoon with a wide choice of hydro massages and spa treatments. They also have access to other spa facilities including saunas, whirlpool baths and gyms to help them unwind after their studies.

Cactus Luxury breaks provide executive language training at glamorous international locations including Vancouver, Florence, Dublin and San Francisco. Travellers can opt to stay in a wide variety of luxury hotels, be chauffeur-driven from the airport and choose a local bilingual guide to take them around the city, teaching them the language as they go.

Richard Bradford , Managing Director of Cactus, commented: “New Year is traditionally a time when people set themselves new goals and learning a language is a great challenge. Our packages offer complete indulgence for people of all language abilities and couldn’t be further away from images of stuffy grammar lessons. We’re delighted to offer these fun international language courses for serious hedonists!”
