All teaching, accommodation, catering, sports
and social activities included in the junior summer course
take place on the campus of the Southampton Solent University.
Located in the heart of the city, students studying here
can easily reach the city’s main attractions by
foot. The campus facilities include a bright, modern cafeteria,
spacious classrooms, a large sports hall and a theatre
for film shows. Other fun events such as discos, strictly
for junior students only, are arranged at a local nightclub. |

Activities: |
During the week there are activities every afternoon
and evening, including a variety of sports like football,
basketball and volleyball, plus other activities such
as bowling, film nights and discos. There are also visits
to sites of local interest, including one half-day excursion
during the week to nearby places of interest such as
Winchester, the New Forest, Bournemouth and Stonehenge.
Bigger excursions are then saved for the weekend, when
students can enjoy a full-day visit to places such as
London, Oxford, Bath and the Isle of Wight. This really
is the ideal way to learn English whilst enjoying a
fun, international and fully supervised environment. |

| Accommodation: |
Residence: Accommodation
is provided in a modern and safe residence, just a few
minutes’ walk from the main campus across a pleasant
park. The residence offers a large common room with
a TV, video, pool table and vending machines, where
students can relax with their new friends. A laundry
room is also available. All students stay in single
bedrooms with private bathrooms, and school staff also
stay on-site in addition to the residence’s own
24-hour security. |
