With a population of 1,6 million, Perth is the state capital of Western Australia, Australia's biggest and richest state. Located on the Indian Ocean coast, along the Swan River, the city is an outdoor-lover's paradise. It enjoys more sunshine than any other Australian city and offers an impressive choice of golden beaches and natural parks, lending itself perfectly to sporting and leisure activities. As a place to learn English, Perth is small enough to get around easily, but large enough to guarantee plenty to do after class - this makes it easy to practise the language with the locals, who are friendly and cosmopolitan themselves, and fill your diary with all the activities on offer at the school.
Cactus offers a variety of English courses in Perth, at a well-established school in the heart of the city, close to the waterfront and Victoria Square. Roughly half of the school's students come from Asia, and the other half from Europe, so you are sure to make friends with people from all over the world while taking your English course in Perth.
