Nice is the gateway to France's stunning and fashionable Côte d'Azur. Sitting between Monaco and Cannes, and just 30km from the Italian border, the city boasts an enviable location on the Baie des Anges (Bay of Angels) and has a dramatic backdrop of cliffs hiding a number of charming French villages. Back on the seafront the Promenade des Anglais is the place to see, and be seen, while the beach is the place to soak up the sun no matter what age and regardless of the pebbles.
