Little changed over the centuries, Sicily is a unique blend

Located on Sicily's south-eastern coast, just south of Catania,

joined to the mainland by two bridges. Ortigia reveals the charm
of a city that has witnessed almost 3,000 years of history and played
host to the most important Mediterranean civilisations. It's a beautiful
web of ancient buildings and narrow streets, lively piazzas, market
stalls, bars and cafes…and, best of all, you're never too
far from the waterfront, where you can end the day with a dip in
the warm Ionian sea or simply relax by the ancient sea wall and
admire your spectacular surroundings.
