Marbella, Spain

For all the millions who visit Spain each year there are a million reasons why. Whatever your whim, you can be sure that somewhere in Spain will cater to it.

More about Spain>>

:: Welcome to Marbella
Marbella may not have the history of Granada or the charm of Seville but it does have
one string to its bow when the hot Andalusian sun beats down - the beach. And we're not
talking about any usual beach, we're talking about miles of uninterrupted coastline and sparkling Mediterranean
water. No surprise then that Marbella has developed from a small fishing village into one of Europe's
hottest resorts, upmarket hotels and palm trees now lining the trendy seafront esplanade. Almost half
way between Malaga and Gibraltar, with the glamourous marina of Puerto Banus just 5km away, this is
the Costa del Sol in its full glory. But Andalucia it is, and Andalucia at heart it will remain.

Plus points:
Fantastic beach location
Superb sporting facilities
Good nightlife
Mediterranean climate year-round
Proximity to other parts of Andalucia

With an average temperature of 19 degrees Celsius it has the perfect climate
to enjoy the beautiful beaches, shimmering blue waters and countless golf courses
on offer. Marbella has some excellent shopping centres and a vibrant nightlife.
The sun shines 320 days a year, and with less than 50 rainy days, who could
ask for more!
