Approximately two hours from London, on England’s south coast, Bournemouth
is one of the country’s most attractive holiday resorts. Its
beauty and extensive facilities have made it an important centre
for tourism, education and business, ideal for both the holiday-maker
and the many thousands of university and college students who live
here. It’s a town of wonderful parks and flowers but is perhaps
best known for its stunning golden beach, which provides seven glorious
miles of clean and safe sand that slopes gently into the sea. There’s
also plenty to do away from the beach and, with such a high student
population, it comes as no surprise that Bournemouth boasts over
thirty nightclubs, some 200 restaurants and cafes offering every
type of international cuisine. As a place to live and study, it
doesn’t get much better than this.
